Back to my old ’school’
I used to be a computer lecturer for many colleges before I became a programmer. One of the college was Taylor’s College. I taught computer subjects for CPU (Canadian Pre University) program and it one of the most memorable experience for me. One of the reasons is because it had the best teaching conditions compared to all the other colleges I’ve taught before.
There were perks such as paid parking lots by the college, teacher section in canteen (free lunch!), and short teaching hours. I also liked their strict student attendance policy (80% or be expelled!) because it meant that I don’t have to worry about getting crappy passing rates because students missed some classes.
The title of this post is misleading because tomorrow, I’m just going back to Taylor’s College (at Section 15 Subang Jaya) for a chess competition. It’s been several years since I left that college so it’s nice to see what are the changes.
I’ll be twittering live from the chess event from my chess blog.

hi, does Taylor College really have the best teaching conditions compared to other colleges? I like the strict student attendance policy. All colleges should have that.

Well I can only compare Taylor’s with the other colleges that I’ve taught before and in my opinion it’s so far the best.
Of course I wish I had experience teaching in Sunway Uni college too but did not have the chance.
