Yes this is a Router! USB thumbdrive size. It’s the Synet Windy31 USB Wireless Router and I stumbled upon it because I was looking for a way to share my WiFi connection with friends when I’m on the go.

I’m targeting August 18 because that’s when the Malaysian Chess Open will start. Strong chess players will be here from all over the world and it would be nice to share out Internet access in the chess playing hall.

It’s not a normal router where you pull in the main network cable into it. It just plugs into your computer (typically a notebook) which already has a internet connection.
