Good news / bad news day
Lightning struck yesterday and my modem got fried. It’s TMNet very common Riger DB102 ASDL modem.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is this envelope. Can’t tell from who without opening it..
Yes!! This cancels out the bad news this morning. The letter is from Nuffnang.
It’s a cheque from Nuffnang !! 
Also, I found out that the TMNet modem has a life time warranty so replacement is free of charge. I’m blogging using dial up at the moment and it’s expensive as well as painfully slow.
