Traffic
I just joined Entrecard to find out what’s the fuss about. I’ve been seeing Entrecard 125×125 ads in many blogs I visited. It supposedly another tool to bring bloggers traffic. I hope it’s not another blogrush. Did not know how to design a button so I just chose a stock picture and wrote some nonsensical tag lines
Anyway an hour after joining I already got 8 referrals clicks in my stats. Don’t know whether it’s just Entrecard automated bot or real people who visited me. If it’s real human clicks then that’s quite impressive. Let’s wait a week or two to see if it really does increases your blog traffic.

It’s kind of late liao. Entrecard has grown too big already. When I was invited to join when they started, I get about 30 to 50 visits per day. Now only 2 or 3 only and mostly come to drop their cards and get out without even reading anything.
Now I have to keep my credits really low to attract advertisers, there are simply too many competition. Think I will be dumping it after I fulfill all the advertisements.

yup, as ah pek said, the traffic from EC is not as much as before. But do try to drop more cards at others’ blog, and also use the EC you earned to buy the ad position at some blogs that can actually bring you traffic.

Ok la.. I try to accumulate as much credit as I can. See if I can buy blog exposures using it.

Like the other two before me said, Entrecard is really saturated now…When it first launched I was amazed at the amount of traffic I would get from their service. I’m still getting around 30-40 visits a day from the site, though. The things that seemed to work for me:
-Be in the top 3 of a specific category
-Sell items in the Entrecard store
-Leave comments on other member blogs
-Participate in the forum
-Keep an eye out for available advertising on some big name blogs and snag a spot if you can (when Problogger first joined I was able to snag an advertisement for 3 credits…well worth it!)
