If you have been following my blog the last 2 days, I have been blogging from Starbucks and the mamak stall because there’s no Streamyx at home. After I made my payments 3 days ago using credit card, Telekom was nice enough to cut off my line a day after I made payment. After checking with their support, they tell me that my payment has been rejected because of “high fraud possibility” whatever that means. I checked with my credit card account and payment has been confirmed. That really got me frustrated.

I called this morning to confirm that the payment has indeed been cancelled at their end. So I proceeded to use my other credit card (from Maybank) to make payment as that was accepted the last time. Also have to make sure I cancel my previous credit card payment, otherwise I would have paid TWICE!

After entering my credit card and confirming payment, the following screen came out:

404

Talk about stressful !!

Luckily the back back  button worked and I got the confirmation screen.

Phew!!

(suggestion to the TM programming team: please check for the Error404 screen. It gives customer the false impression that their payment did not go thru when in fact they have already paid!)

Called up using my handphone to 1300-88-123 (100 numbers don’t work on h/p) for reconnection service and I should be back online at home by tomorrow.

I’m also hounding TM for their delay on my aunt’s Streamyx connection in Cameron Highlands. She has paid for her reconnection almost 2 weeks ago and they promised that Streamyx would be back up again in one week! That would be another follow-up story…
