I hate Google.com.my!
I always felt that Google searches that was customised for us Malaysians made me feel a bit second class. I wanted to see what people outside of Malaysia were seeing in their search results. I really hated Google choosing for me and redirecting me everytime to www.google.com.my when in fact I wanted to just go to www.google.com
Want to know how to use the “international” version of Google and not the local flavour one?
It’s easy!
Go to Google.com and you will get redirected to Google Malaysia.
At the bottom of the screen just click on “Go to Google.com“
I can’t believe the solution was that simple and that this has been driving me up the wall for a couple of weeks

EXACTLY how i feel!!!
i use to be able to do searches on google.com for international related stuffs…only when i want to search for Malaysian related things i will go to google.com.my to search. But these days going to google.com and search will also return Malaysian related stuffs….which irritates me because I really wanted to do a global search rather than geographical (local)search. I guess google auto directs you to local search when they detect your ip.
If u figured out a way out pls let me know…..

Actually, I think the searches is also based on the IP address.
I have tried once searching with a proxy IP, it returned me differently.
*shrug*
