Vacuumed my notebook
Certain keys on my keyboard was getting stuck as there was some dust stuck in between. When that happens I usually blow the keyboard and that usually solves the problem.
Today I took the more active approach - using the house vacuum cleaner to suck up any dirt or dust stuck under the keyboard.
Whoosh.. sucking up the dirt
But I guess it was too powerful as my “>” key got sucked up and went into the vacuum cleaner.
No choice but to open the vacuum bag and pour out the contents. MESSSSSYY !!
Ah.. covered with dirt but recovered anyway.
Cleaned it and pushed it back into the keyboard. Thankfully it went in.
I know that my friends Compaq notebook that once the keys are pulled out, they can’t be attached back. He had to buy a new keyboard as replacement! Mine is a Dell 640m notebook.

Adino, it’s ok if you turn down the power setting of your vacuum to low and not be impatient like me. I turned it up to max !!
Superhero W, yeah lor.. I was always scared to pull out the keys to blow away some sand stuck in between sometimes because I thought it won’t fit back. But now I know it can. He he.. so no worries if the keys are sucked out again.

Then better get the mini notebook vacuum cleaner with brush. I think it’s RM 20++ in most computer shops. No danger of that pulling out your keyboard keys
