Broadband is a catalyst to economic growth

Broadband, Thoughts of the day

Nice to find a supporting article to my anti-sucky broadband post.
The Connected Nation study estimates the U.S. would gain $92 billion in new wages from the 2.4 million jobs created through broadband growth.
There you have it. The study indicates billions of $$$ can be saved or gained by having good broadband. I certainly support the idea that broadband growth is the catalyst to having a better economy. The study further states that
U.S. residents would save 3.8 billion hours a year by conducting transactions online, at a cost-savings of $35.2 billion..
So what are you waiting for Malaysia? Close an eye on broadband and we will lose economically to other emerging broadband countries.
