  I had to go to Maybank to fix my locked internet banking account.

Great!!  The "home" branch I opened my account is closed and some other shop has taken over the building.

So I tried the nearest Maybank at Jln Hang Lekir near Petaling Street.

Walk past the Indian Temple.

Reached Jln Hang Lekir

Got in the bank and was directed to Customer service to solve my locked account problem.

All settled within 15 minutes and my whole Internet account was "wiped out" and a new one created (with my balance still intact of course). What I didn’t know was all my favourite third party account settings were also erased. I only found out when I got home.

Petaling Street is busy as usual.

The old Rex Cinema. Now houses a cyber cafe, backpackers inn and some furniture shop.

Lots of good memories here. Watched "Jurassic Park 1&2", "Independance Day" and many other movies,, So sad that it’s closed down. Blame the pirated DVD business just nearby in Petaling Street.

Ah.. this is the main reason I walked across Petaling Street. My favourite Soya Bean stall right across the road from the Old Rex Cinema. Mixed Tau Faa with Tau Cheong ..RM 1
