I created 2 new Cameron Highlands just for fun and to challenge myself to see if I can create some authentic looking blog in 30 minutes. It took me 2 hours to create the two blogs with only free tools such as Blogspot and all it’s widget. Most of my time was spent on looking for a nice blogspot theme for Rosette Cafe blog.

Of course the motivation for creating these two sites is to create some travel type blogs which I don’t currently have.  Also if my Malaysia Wiki is anything to go by, the Adsense revenue from it can be pretty surprising too with little work. Of course both blogs have Adsense on it but I don’t hope to earn anything from it yet. It’s funny as I’m using Adsense as a traffic tool. The number of impressions roughly tells me the traffic I’m getting.

Now I’m thinking of creating some real blog sites on Camerons to replace these two ‘trial’ blogs. Need to get proper dot com domain names of course. I wanted to do that right away but my PayPal has been emptied to pay for my holidays :( .

Hmmm.. I guess that’s what free Blogspot blogs are good for. You can prototype a website fast and see if you want to continue a full blown one using WordPress later.

Anyway once my PayPal is ‘refilled’ I’ll go ahead and create ‘real’ sites on Cameron Highlands. Then I will link to them from my more established Malaysia Wiki to give them some link juice :)
