It’s been a long time since I’ve installed any PHP script other than Wordpress. So a few days ago I installed a new script called Pligg which is an opens source Digg clone on my inactive domain, MyMuka.com. I tried Pligg 2 years ago and it was terribly not stable and raw. But when I saw how BlogggingZoom.com was running on Pligg, I figure they must have made big improvements in the code.


(hmmm..I haven’t even publicised this site and already twosuperheroes have already registered here).

After a few days of playing around with it, I must say it is really good! I left another trial of Pligg on news.gilachess.com for my chess news and I am surprised that the site has gained PR2 in the last Google PageRank update.

Customising Pligg to look and run the way you want is challenging as you need to go to the templates and codes. That’s something I love doing ! :)

At the moment I’m the only active poster on this two pligg sites but I don’t mind. The websites serves as my ‘bookmark’ of interesting posts.
