Isn’t it funny after the last Google nuke on PR that nobody has asked this question?

I for one am pretty eager. I saw many newcomers get PR3 and PR4 from brand new websites. I think this is because they got a high PR link and almost no outgoing links. I come to this conclusion because I myself linked to some of my new websites just before the update and was surprised that the new site got quite a good PR. For example, my http://malaysianrating.thepatzer.com was a site I created ad-hoc just to let local chess players check what is their chess rating. It was created a month before the PR update and is now PR3.

So when is the next Google PR update? Nobody knows but I personally hope it will be in January or February next year. I know there are other factors that can measure a blog’s general success such as the number of RSS readers, traffic and so on but I always get that extra inspiration to write for my blogs that have higher PRs. What to do? I’m a PR snob :)

In the meantime, I’m busy thinking of new sites to launch in time to catch the next update. So what are you waiting for? The next PR update may just be around the corner! Even 5xmom is hoping for some Google PR reinstatement for Christmas.
