With Google swinging it’s executioner’s axe and chopping of PPP postie’s PR, PPP has become a taboo word in many blogs. Heck, I am even afraid to mention it in my higher PR blogs. In case you don’t know, you get paid for blogging and reviewing certain topics paid by advertisers. There are many companies like Sponsored Review, Blogvertise etc but one of the more prominent one that has emerged is Smorty.

Going Underground
I think this has led to other paid posts programs like Smorty to come up in the game of paid posts. I have seen evidence of this when I saw some PR4 blog clearly filled with Smorty opps but not penalised at all by Google. I have seen may of such blogs (and bookmarked in my del.icio.us). Of course I’m not so bad that I will report the site to Google. (evil laugh)

No Disclosure!
Also, another unique feature of Smorty is that sponsored posts does not require disclosure like PPP so it’s less likely for Google to track special keywords and phrase to indicate that it is paid post. All this has made Smorty pretty attractive to bloggers wanting to go into the paid post business. So paid posts is definitely not going away. The more Google hack at this industry, the more they will go underground and thrive.

Book a Task
One unque feature of Smorty is that you can ‘book’ or reserve a task for 3 days. This allows posties to take their time in wrting posts without time pressure.

Another different between Smorty and Pee Pee Pee is that you cannot delete off your old posts. The latter allows you do delete the posts after 30 days.

Smorty certainly looks more promising than Pee Pee Pee at this moment as it offers an ‘underground’ PR protection from the Big G. :)
