I visited several blogs at random searching for paid post keywords like “sponsored”, “PayPerPost”, “Smorty” and found out that there are a few blogs that still survived the Google Nuke. I won’t list them down here for obvious reasons. They are not that many. It seems roughly out of ever 10 blogs I found, 2 had survived. I wonder what made this blogs special to have escaped Google’s attention. I tried to find out if they had any special features but fail to find any. Some even had PayPerPost banners prominently displayed on their sidebars.

Lucky Survivors
I guess these blogs mostly with PR3 and PR4 are the lucky ones who can go around grabbing new posts when most of the bigger players with big PRs cannot compete with them to grab high paying post.

Hiding from Google’s Wrath
I also noticed that blogs that did not clearly disclose they are being paid for the posts were also ignored by Google. There were many Smorty only blogs that had PRs. Looks like Google’s action is now forcing blogs to go underground and avoid in-post disclosure.

Resurrection?
For the rest of the blogs that died in the latest PR 0 nuke, I think many are now considering “reconsideration” to resurrect their blogs from the PR0 grave. I for one am seriously thinking about it. What about you ?
