It’s the fresh start of the month again! Usually at this time my local bank account would be a little fatter with one month full salary. To make matters worse my wallet is empty.

Since I’ve gone full time blogging, I don’t have a full time job anymore. My usual local bank account is a big fat ZERO :(

I went out in the middle of the night…

Looking for money ..

The difference now is that I cannot just withdraw money from any local bank ATM. It has to have the “Cirrus” logo.

Reason is that I’m withdrawing from my PayPal account using my sister’s PayPal Debit Card.  :)

Basically, it’s the same thing. The difference is  my “salary” is now in a foreign account in USD.

By the way, I withdrawn about RM 400 and the exchange rate was at 3.333. That’s a big drop from the last time when it was 3.41. Anyway, that one ATM withdrawal includes a USD 1 charge. That’s certainly better than VMI’s USD 5 per ATM transaction.

I know I should withdraw all my money and put it into my local bank so that can at least earn interest. PayPal money earns zero interest. But it was the middle of the night and the cash deposit machine was across the road.

So I just withdraw that amount for my week’s spending and also for my dinner.
