It’s common to find Kontera links on blogs but how many Wiki have you seen with Kontera ads?

I wanted to add Kontera to my Malaysia Wiki so I emailed Kontera support for permission to add Kontera on http://malaysia.maribelajar.com. It turns out that since my first blog at http://chess.maribelajar.com was already approved, the wiki which is on the same domain is also automatically approved. I immediately went to work to insert Kontera ad codes into the wiki.

I’m using MediaWiki. These were the steps:
1. Open ../skins/Monobook.php
(if you used a different skin then you’ll have to open that file with the skin name and extension .php - eg: skinname.php
)

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the file and ad the Kontera link just before the closing body tag.

3. Save the file and you are done!

A few minutes later(had to reload a few times), I have Kontera ads on my Wiki !
